Some Animals have Artful Patterns in Their Skin

I had a dream about the ink drawing I was working on before bed.  This was a good ‘breakthrough’ for my dream work because I really was trying to draw this animal’s power into my own life. That is one of the main reasons why Native Americans have animal guides, allies and/or spirits, to inherit the qualities and potentials of that creature. Every animal has gifts and one of the greatest gifts of the alligator is the hide. I’ve been dealing with some serious skin issues lately and seeking a cure on any and every level I can get so I’m hoping the alligator showing up in my dream last night was a symbol of healing.

It was a very peaceful dream. I was sitting by the banks of a bayou right below a spot where two creeks merge into one slow moving shallow but wide bayou and I was talking to Sting. (LOL! I know now it sounds like a fantasy!) I was telling him about the alligator down the stream that he could go look at but not to get too close because it was wild.
